More about this journey
About the destination. Arashiyama pairs the bamboo grove with the Togetsukyo bridge, monkey park views and quiet temple gardens on Kyoto's western edge. A short private transfer from central Kyoto saves the walk to and from stations with bags or small children.
How the trip runs. The car collects you at your Kyoto accommodation and sets you down close to the grove and river area. Your driver collects you at the hotel, station-front or private address you entered at booking and helps load luggage before departure.
Vehicles and luggage. The booking flow shows which vehicles fit your passenger and suitcase count before you confirm anything: standard sedans for couples, roomy MPVs for families, and vans or minibuses for larger groups with ski bags, strollers or golf bags. Capacities shown on each vehicle card are the authority; if your party is near a limit, pick the next size up.
